This viral New York Post video, which falsely claims "USAID paid Time magazine $4m to name Zelensky person of the year", is fake and was never published by the New York Post.

It's similar in style to videos created by a well-known Russian disinformation operation that imitiates major news outlets.

On @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social just now, former US ambassador to Denmark Carla Sands said Americans "don't want to pay for another of Zelensky's yachts".

The claim that Zelensky is using US aid to buy yachts is an old piece of disinformation directly originating from Russia. It's not true.

Looking at Carla Sands' X timeline, she's also shared this fake New York Post video which falsely claims USAID paid Time magazine $4m to name Zelensky person of the year in 2022.

The New York Post has never published this video, and there's zero evidence for the claim.

Tucker Carlson claims that Ukraine has been selling "huge quantities of American weapons on the black market", which he says have been bought by Hamas, Mexican drug cartels and the HTS in Syria.

This is a claim pushed by the Kremlin for nearly three years, but there's no evidence for it.
