A huge thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate and to those who helped make it possible, it was a wonderful day with such a great atmosphere!

A number of passengers alighted at Tywyn for a special double-headed journey up the Railway with a Heart of Gold, re-joining the mainline train on their return.
On Friday we welcomed the #CambrianCoastExpress from Vintage Trains, this special mainline charter train was part of our 75th Anniversary celebrations as the World's First Preserved Railway.

Today is Vintage Trains' inaugural Cambrian Coast Express, being run as part of our 75th Anniversary Celebrations!
We were lucky enough to join the tour at their Tyseley Depot early this morning, and we'll be posting updates throughout the day.
the worst version of this is when you realise that cutting the scene would make the story a little more pacey and that you waisted an album's worth of time on something that doesn't matter
i'll tell you what is simultaneously satisfying and grim: listening to an album while filming at the same time and the album finishes when the filming does. the grim part is that it was a 20 second scene and the album was 40 minutes.

I think this series was always going to be a slow burn but I hope that it's been worth it to you all as much as it has been to me xoxoxo
Thank you for sticking with me and my stupid series. Thanks to my friends who have humoured my terrible ideas and plots and gone along with them anyway. And a whopping huge thank you to Luke and Richard who have been with this series since its inception and play active roles in the upcoming story!
One episode is written and ready to film. Another is being written and will soon be ready to film and a third is hopefully also going to follow, completing the now weirdly usual trend of the first episode of an Auld Lang Syne series being released a couple of years before the rest.
Cedric, a sentient LNER class Y3 Sentinel chunter, looking nervous in a yard surrounded by the people who built him. Yes. Auld Lang Syne went with the lazy answer to the question (how do you start a story?) and showed a character being born.
L-R Holmes (LNER J83), Maude (LNER J36) and Cedric (LNER Y3) sit together in a yard. Holmes is smiling and looking at Maude. Maude is looking straight ahead probably thinking about how he does not want to be here and Cedric is smiling too. Also there is snow!
L-R: Maude (LNER J36, scowling), Peter (LNER/BR A1, smiling gormlessly) and Muffin (LNER V2, smiling contentedly) in a yard. No snow this time :(
Maude (foreground, LNER J36, neutral expression) and Haig (background, LNER J36, incredibly funny face what Luke done did designed intentionally obscured) are sat in Haymarket station - a scene from the latest episode that I am slowly working on.
So.
Auld Lang Syne is 10 today.
That's slightly terrifying.
I sadly haven't made much progress - not enough to show off in a special clip BUT I am hoping to have *multiple* episodes out this year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the series and the fifth anniversary of the 2021 return!
where is the new video tho???
YouTube comment that says “Right it’s been a year where’s the new video”
happy valentines day
