Yep. There may be times you can second guess it, but intentionally taking “the backroads to avoid traffic on the highway” which adds A LOT of stop and go time when there really isn’t traffic?
I’m a bit jaded after driving in california so long. Most of eastern Florida does not know what traffic is.

The thing I’m more worried about is a base may be “Poor” to start and the addition of 1-3 assets being enough to quickly push it to very poor. How do we help people navigate this better (and make the right thing to do more obvious). Typically texture compression is an easy starting point in unity.

I don’t disagree about the failures here, but there are users that really aren’t familiar/aware. I’m mostly thinking how to better educate and make this obvious to users so they can focus on doing the right thing.

Maybe even some small visual cues/hints to indicate ("Good" means "generally visible to other users" vs. "Very poor" only visible to users with graphics cards 4090 or newer" and so on). Obviously this would need more wordsmithing, but it could go a long way to push users to reconcile this behavior.

"very poor" is sometimes a default starting place for some bases with 1 or 2 assets added people tend to accept "welp...it's already very poor I can't make it much worse". Is it possible to have further categories below "very poor" to make the "how bad" more clear and obvious?
