There were lots more great answers & surprises during the day, like interviews w/ Tina Fey, Kate McKinnon, & Colin Jost, as well as Tom Brady, Jason Kelce, Hoda Kotb, Nicole Kidman, & Garth Brooks. Doris Kerns Goodwin interviewed Michelle Obama, who mostly told stories about meeting and dating Barack, which was fun. I highly related to her saying that she planned to work another decade and then sit on a beach somewhere.
Interviewed by Jon Meachem, Barack Obama reminded us of the important role stories play in changing hearts and minds and making progress. He counted his highest moment in office as the night they passed healthcare reform, and the lowest as Sandy Hook.
Joe & Dr. Jill Biden, interviewed by Jay Shetty, both listed the Zelenskyys as people they’d met and most admired.
Joe went on to talk about the
importance of helping Ukraine win the war being waged against them, and how that matters to the security of all of Europe, as well as here in the US.
