You Don’t Need an AI Policy Your school, university, or business doesn't need an AI policy: you need to figure out what AI adds to the policies you already have.

Excellent guidance here from @leonfurze.com and basically what I've been saying from the start. You don't need a specific policy on AI. Look at what you already have in place - technology use agreements, academic integrity, etc.

As always, here's @marcusluther.bsky.social with a truly excellent piece on @edutopia.org! In education, we talk about the time about teachers modeling learning and behavioral habits for kids. Marcus applies that same idea here to our AI use.

Deepfakes Are Everywhere. What Can We Do? X’s AI chatbot Grok is undressing users, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg with fake imagery online. How does it work and what comes next?

It’s more difficult than ever to know what is real online, as fake images, voices, and videos become indistinguishable from the real thing. How did we get here, and are there any guardrails?
