NOSH (from inside the ship): In Moscow, I learn to stay inside, except for three glorious days of summer. …I will stay here with Vehari pals. PANEL 2: NOSH, a large humanoid reptilian alien with huge eyes, hits a button with a “BAP!”, next to it is a sign reading “WARNING: Gangway hatch release”. THE CAPTAIN stands next to him, an older woman with glasses, wears a winter jacket with a fur-lined hood. NOSH: You crazy kids have fun. Say I to captain lady for us. CAPTAIN: We’ll bring you back a Grasskan dessert. PANEL 3: NOSH calls down as snow swirls in front of him. CUDDOW, an alien with 6 eyes, also wearing a winter coat with a fur lined hood, stands next to NOSH. NOSH: CAPTAIN! That is my love language! CUDDOW: Mine is “High Production Value Musicals,” so I get it. PANEL 4: CAPH, a Grasskan (a very large dinosaur-like alien, with a ring in his nose), wears a similar winter coat with fur-lined hood. CAPH: CAN I STAY TOO, CAPTAIN? I’m nervous to meet her. What if she blames me for what happened to my ship? Or for running away? PANEL 5: The CAPTAIN walks down the gangway into a bright white snowy environment. CAPTAIN: Cash, you were drafted into an impossible situation. You fought to stay alive when your leadership went suicidal. You’re a pure heart doing your best in an impure world. So let me do the talking, and don’t you worry. PANEL 6: THE MACHITO sits in deep snow, against a white landscape with mountains in the background. A deep trench extends from the gangway. The CAPTAIN walks through the trench that goes up to her head. CAPH follows behind her. No text. Same panel as previous, CAPH is further down the walkway, the CAPTAIN is off panel. CAPH: You’re a good person! NOSH, peaking out from the ship: ONLY IF SHE BRING DESSERT!
