📋 Tonight's #LUFC XI...
Unleashing unquantifiable levels of cope on main is perhaps easier for a centrist bloke than admitting to having been hilariously hoodwinked by the most obvious fraud in British politics
“Oh, you don’t like Keir Starmer, who told all the left-wingers to fuck off, emboldened the far right, demonised asylum seekers, legitimised anti-trans rhetoric, and made an Epstein ally the US ambassador? Well GOOD LUCK FINDING YOUR PERFECT UNICORN!!!”
unserious man
Alex Andreou @sturdyalex.bsky.social Starmer is a decent person who just doesn't have what it takes to do the job. That's the unglamorous truth. The trouble with building moralistic scaffolding around it, pretending he's The Devil just to make ourselves feel a bit better, is that after he's gone, what will remain is our own dishonesty. 8:38 PM • Apr 21, 2026
Alex Andreou @sturdyalex.bsky.social Anyway, I see many of you have very strong views as to the two or three things that definitely prove Starmer is indecent, so l'Il just leave you to discuss them - and wish you the best of luck with your choice of Saint Saviour, who definitely has never done or said two or three questionable things. 9:03 PM • Apr 21, 2026
this is an absolutely nuclear level of fragility to display on the internet
You can actually see the moment Ed Miliband thinks, what's the point burning through whatever political credibility I've got left energetically defending a man who's going to be gone in a matter of weeks.
Fuck the Home Office.
Fuck the Home Secretary.
Fuck the Home Office!
De-Trumpification requires the end of neoliberalism as the guiding ideology of the US or else you will always leave open the same avenue to power that enabled Trump in the first place. I hope the elite are prepared for that, but I don't suspect they are.
wish the commons had a giant screen so they could play this
It's going to be even worse the next time they appoint Peter Mandelson
Sometimes referred as the Graph of Doom, this graph shows simply and clearly what is behind the housing crisis¹, who started it², and who continued it³

³ Major, Blair, Brown, Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss, Sunak, Starmer

Ironically the BBC stumbled on a really important story: Desperate asylum seekers being forced to turn to fraudulent fee-charging “advisors” to navigate a system that is intentionally impossibly baroque and from which all sources of free advice have been removed.
But no: they chose Fake Gay Panic.
peter mandelson failed his vetting? wow. i didn’t know that - you’re telling me now for the very first time.
what can you say? the permanent secretary did a terrible job. a terrible man doing a terrible job. i’m actually absolutely furious to hear that. i am furious.
Just wanted to share my favourite bible verse with bluesky.
“Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.”
Steering wants to cut benefits
LOL, it was never going to be "Tax the rich," was it?
It's always interesting to see when the opinion of the general public is sacrosanct (when they hate immigrants or think trans people are scary) and when they don't really know what they're talking about (when they can't afford food and heating or when they want a pay rise)
I know this lady husband name not “dick tips”
Love to hear olés from Leeds fans at Old Trafford #lufc

Matt Walsh @MattWalshBlog A weird thing is that whenever I post criticism of Al, the majority of the people agreeing with me seem to be leftists. It's pretty much the only position I hold that seems to be more popular with the left than the right. It should be the opposite. My whole point about Al (especially Al in creative fields) is that it isn't human, it doesn't have a soul, and we cannot surrender our society to an unhuman soulless algorithm even if it makes our lives easier in some ways. It's very strange that an argument predicated on the existence of the soul resonates with the left while conservatives tend to scoff at it. 3:02 PM • Mar 12, 2026 • 748.5K Views
"for unknown reasons, my mortal enemies appear to be concerned with the core essence of humanity in a way that my allies are not. oh well, better not think about it too hard."
• Delivering single-sex spaces on the basis of biological sex, in NHS wards, schools, sport and everyday life by upholding the Equality Act and delivering clear instructions to public services on how to comply with their legal obligations to women and to trans people. • Keeping women's prisons for women, instructing the Scottish Prison Service to remove all biologically male prisoners from women's prisons within days of the election. • Recommit the NHS to delivering single sex wards on the basis of biological sex, and ensuring patients can request same sex provision wherever possible.
Scottish Labour manifesto is out, don’t vote for them
I'm a pre-whatever-that-is Green supporter, am to the left of Zack Polanski, care about the environment, and would never in a million years vote for a Liberal Democrat.
I'd rather stick hot pokers in my eyes.
No, you do it. You know everything.
Before Craig Albernaz got to the mound to remove Cade Povich after 6 2/3 one-run innings, he paused and clapped his hands. He built the applause from the Camden Yards crowd.
Then Albernaz pounded Povich's chest
You stated as fact that nobody in the US is trying to change FPTP. When informed that you were wrong, rather than admit it, you interrogate pesky reality for not conforming to your assumptions. So arrogant.
silence, a mediocre white man is explaining why economic precarity is all in your head
