I've been revisiting the Eurythmics recently - they made some great albums. I'm not sure they really get the plaudits they deserve. Not just for great songs but also for pushing boundaries.

A date for your diaries...Wednesday June 10th, Strongroom Bar, Shoreditch.
BBC to cut 1 in 10 staff. May I suggest Chris Mason and Laura Kuenssberg are first to go?

RIP Ozzy
(AKA Squodge AKA OzPoz)
We loved you dearly and will miss you terribly. You were a rascally rascal and we were lucky to have our 18 years in your company.
First Record of The Weekend is Gnod with Chronicles of Gnowt on @rocketrecordings.bsky.social. Yet again they traverse a new branch of the Gnodiverse and break away from any expectations. Haunting and beautiful, as is the wonderful sleeve.
Lovely walk on Farnham Heath this afternoon in the sun. Didn't manage to get any decent photos of the wildlife, but we saw a goldcrest, a nuthatch and a gorgeous emerald green lizard. Enjoyed a cup of coffee and some cake at the Rural Life Museum cafe afterwards too.
Wanna buy an album? ๐
It really is! I thought more people would be glued to it though...seems a shame it isn't getting more coverage over here.
Mind you they talk a load of bollocks on that feed. Shame.
30 minutes and counting!
Is anyone else excited about the moon shot?
There's a NASA feed here:

Sue has been doing some volunteering for the Joanna Wildlife Hospital, and we've just released Morgan, a rescue hedgehog, in our garden. Last night was release night, and our trail cam caught his first foray into freedom! Good luck Morgan.
That must be annoying, especially given how much time and effort you've put in. If I remember correctly I had something that sounds quite similar quite early on using it, one of the reasons I packed it in and went for a real teacher. Maybe not the exact same problem, but it involved much guesswork.
It's bloody great!
Bloody love the album. Hope you're all doing well!
First Record of The Weekend is Arise from Helicon x Al Lover. I've had this for a while now and it doesn't leave the turntable for long. @heliconglasgow.bsky.social have really turned up the dial on this and Al Lover has added trippy beats to the already psychedelic hot pot. Play loud.
Hard not to love Bruce.
Yikes! I shall look on my toasties with trepidation!
First Record of The Weekend is the amazing new Gong album Bright Spirit. This incarnation of the band just go from strength to strength - they've had a fantastic run of albums, and this one is no exception. Bloody marvelous!
Painting of a barn owl at the Rollright Stones
NEW! #BarnOwl at #Rollright is just finished!
It's the first #painting I've done for weeks due to frequent interruptions from various building projects at home.
I hope you like it & thx for looking ๐

Wow! That's fantastic!
Lovely!
Its all wok and no play for you.
I'm off to India in the morning for 10 days of yoga, sunshine and chaos. You could say I'm a little teeny bit excited.
That's quite a look!
This is rather lovely!
Marvellous!
See you at the Strongroom Bar on June 10th!
That's a big old painting!
Ah well, can't win 'em all!
Damn, I want this! Can't justify ยฃ44 delivered from Europe though.
