If you press v you can play in 3rd person and if you press c you enter cinomatic mode and look at your character from all around. That's how I discovered there was an eating animation lol

It did a lot of damage. The server I moderate had a lot of issue with the mods. Our dev even complained how they changed a lot of things drastically to the point of starting completely from scratch. Hytale promised this wont happen again they said bc I couldn't find the source.

Nope, minecraft was not hitting the same anymore. Even after being overwhelmed by missed updates I would still get bored quickly. Hytale doesn't do that to me, it's shiny and despite end game being easy for most hardcore players. I'm very casual in playing so I don't rush my gameplays.
