Once one of the animators needed some archery reference.
So to really get the feeling of it, they got their hands on a bow and pulled it back. Not being enough, they notched an arrow to really get an understanding of the mechanics.
And that's how the meeting room window was destroyed. ๐

Most of the teams I worked with were fueled by naivety and gusto, and everyone generally had a good time while we were learning about the limits of tech, time and creativity.

When I was in the games industry I saw a lot of different approaches to herding creative types.
Creative types generally don't have a natural affinity for being herded or directed, so it usually (invariably?) devolved into a chaotic romp in a general direction.
Sometimes it would even be fun!
