Congrats! How many pounds did you start with?

Started with one 25 lb block. I am thinking of testing what I can do with that by continuing to increase the circumference until it fails.
Thoughts?

Run a zig zag wheel up the side of a thick cylinder, then throw from the inside. For lid, slam the slab a couple of times to widen the wheel’s cuts.

So what kind of hair should I grow for this girl? Philodendron vines? spider plants? Snakeskin plants? Cactus? A flowery hat?

I love the little yellow balls you added in addition to the stars. Nice touch! Moving stars give it a lively feel.
Mine is a little more funeral urn themed. (Basset the Egyptian cat goddess)

How about joining the #20pots ? Post one pot a day for 20 days, no particular order. It’s a good way to introduce yourself.

Very nice! I just started making lamps, these are my first two. Any tips on putting the parts together? Do you use epoxy on anything or just bolts?

Use of scrap: 3 min, brings in what a carefully made mug does. It is VERY important that you only display one so no one thinks “I will come back for one later”. Customers like the get it before it’s gone & one-of-a-kind feeling, and buy it as a gift for that relative who gardens.

I love your moons! Inspiring! Can you tell me something about your process? Do these go into a raku kiln with the rocks on them?

You even coordinated your toothbrush colors with the glaze! Very fine!
