One of the other many things: Every time (not literally, thankfully) Vancouver have got around or into our box, they've had a shot. All the times we got around or into their box, we had one shot total.

Among many, many things that need to be fixed, way up on the list is goal kicks. That's two Vancouver goals in 28 minutes tonight coming back off #SportingKC goal kicks. And that's at least 4 on the season. Been burnt short, burnt long, w/no good plan either way and no change incoming.

For someone who was unable to watch, where's our embarrassment level right now? Are we all the way up trying to press this 10 into an 11, or could things still get worse from here?

Both teams gameplans worked in that first half, unfortunately. #SportingKC switching it quickly up the right side when they recover off San Jose's right side overload... and then San Jose's right side overload found the space it was looking for. James did not seem to fear the guy in front of him.

They previously had 3 consecutive nwsl games on the road 5 times: twice in 2022 (DLL & LWW, includes playoffs), in 2023 (WWL), in 2024 (WDD), and in 2025 (WWW). Now, LLL in 2026.

Looking at yesterday's ratings, according to @whoscored.com, Stevenage played the best game against #ReadingFC so far this season (7.07). Only other opp +7: BRD (Aw), L 0-2 (7.05).

Combining WS w/ratings from @thetilehurstend.bsky.social & @fotmob.com, this was 5th league game that RDG rated < 6.

For some reason, the Current's zonal markers on the 6 all took a step up as the corner came in, and that step is why Sharples couldn't head the ball away trying to crane her neck backwards to reach it. That said, Robinson should still have done better--she's got to attack it, not wait on it. #KCBaby

Dusty May got whipped, and the needed shotmaking didn't materialize at the end. Leaves plenty to work on before the real tournament starts. For all the talk of Yaxel's subpar games in this run (that he came out of), would be nice to reset Johnson for the coming games. #GoBlue

Getting ready for the game by looking over the roster again and then the injury list has done nothing to quell my discontent over the sale of Hutton. It makes even less sense today.
