Like idk. Theres plenty of platforms flooded w bots sure but most people I know barely use social media. And if they do theyre lurking for memes to save lol. And thats fine!
we should re-orient society around partying. A municipal mardi gras for every season. Government funded house parties. Live music in the streets. Personally I'm kind of quiet about it, but I think the government and our civil institutions should be focused on everyone Having a Good Time.

The internet shows us who we are. Everything bad about the internet is a symptom of a pre-existing condition, made obvious by scale. Awareness is a precondition for change. IMHO we can make a better internet only by healing the deep wounds, not by simply changing incentive structures.
