Fun facts: there’s only 23 days until nominations close. Anyone selected won’t be able to claim they’ve ā€˜worked hard all year around for you’.

That and Laila Cunningham in the photo with Nigel here has never been elected as a Reform UK councillor and is standing down from her seat this year.

Disingenuous from Polanski, sadly something we’re used to from him. Hopefully the increased spotlight on the Greens will allow for more scrutiny on some of the nonsense he comes out with.

Let’s not forget Farage said he hoped Jaguar - a UK firm employing 32,800 people - would go bust because he didn’t like some of their adverts. Their willingness to cause massive damage to the economy if it doesn’t fit their idealised version of Britain is staggering.

Keep smearing the electorate Nige, I’m sure it will endear you to them.

Watching the pathetic Trumpian whinging from this lot shows a lot of the fragility of their movement, and should hopefully precipitate a sharp drop in their poll ratings…

The mask slips. Farage’s Trumpian rhetoric has no place in our democracy.

So after Farage forced Tice into announcing his own sacking as leader during the election campaign, he’s now sacked him from the economic brief in favour of a Tory defector who helped a donor skip a Ā£45m tax bill.

How much more humiliation can he take?

Wouldn’t surprise me! He’s not going to give up on his dream of the top job.

How long before Jenrick launches a leadership challenge in Reform - are we talking months, weeks or minutes? Farage may end up regretting this defection…

Elon Musk's Grok AI image editing limited to paid users after deepfakes It comes after government urged Ofcom to use all its powers – up to and including an effective ban – against X.

Elon Musk's Grok AI image editing limited to paid users after deepfakes www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Not good enough, particularly with Musk’s failure to take meaningful action against X users breaking previous rules. Prevent this happening full stop, hand over details of those creating deepfakes.

Ofcom urged to use 'banning' powers over X AI deepfakes It follows an ongoing backlash against the use of X's AI Grok to digitally remove clothing from images.

Ofcom urged to use 'banning' powers over X AI deepfakes www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Horrifying, and seemingly just a game to Musk. If the Twitter owners won’t deal with this and the pathetic individuals who are doing this, ban the platform as you would any other media outlet.

A privilege to represent Audenshaw at our Remembrance ceremonies this weekend and to attend the parade in Ashton today.

We will remember them.

Farage at his press conference: ā€œFree speech does not include incitement to kill.ā€

Fully agree. But then why did he invite a woman who called for people to burn down hotels with migrants inside to speak at his conference?

If you're considering calling it quits, just hang on. It may not seem like it right now, but better things are waiting for you just around the corner.

Please have a chat with someone you know, or give the Samaritans a bell on 116 123 (they're really lovely).

You matter.

Yes Richard, I would not want to go to the pub with the Taliban - I try not to socialise with people whose interests involve torturing and killing dissidents. I also wouldn’t want to do any deal with them to send people back for the aforementioned torturing and killing. Only a sociopath would.

What utter dickheads we are…

Rayner fought for workers: sick pay, maternity rights, protection from unfair dismissal

Farage and his MPs voted it down

Rayner gets binned over £40k in stamp duty

Farage dodges £44k, shrugs & strolls on

The mega wealthy win again.

Whilst there are issues with the immigration system, can we not at least agree that creating return deals with the Taliban of all people could be politely described as sociopathic? (As well as several less polite descriptions…)

Utter garbage. She was a prisoner, nothing political about it. Reasonable people can disagree on any given sentence but the facts are clear:
- she incited serious violence
- PM did exactly nothing
- she went to jail because of what SHE did: committing a crime + pleading guilty
