Have you ever had a blog?

Secondhand nostalgia for something I wasn't around to experience at inception, the 2010s in a nutshell.
Have you tried the web app?

A Nigerian official says it was some part of a cruise missile or something of the sort.
A farmer discovered a warhead, and tried to lift it with some friends. Don't know if it could have detonated then.
Then, there's people who were injured in Offa.

Sounds conspiratorial but Nigeria refused to accept deportees, maybe the embarrassment is just retribution.
Frankly, we are responsible for all those people dying, for every day we let APC remain in Aso Rock, all that blood is on our hands.
But it's so hard to beat the apathy everyone has
I think we're the seventh or so country Trump has threatened to invade this year alone.
It seems to me he doesn't care about the people being killed in the Middle Belt and just wants to strong-arm our tyrants into doing something or the other.
I wish whoever is in charge at Google would see this and bring back raw Gemini reasoning traces. There were so many interesting ideas it would run through that would not make it to the finished response. Now, helpful generated text is compressed into worthless summaries, then binned away from sight.
Immensely funny if woke Grok somehow manages to inject wokeness into its outputs for training Hitler Grok so it still comes out woke.
The illusion of freedom isn’t freedom. It’s a feature-gated version of it, tailored to your profile.
You start remembering things as they were branded, not as they were lived.
You have a gut feeling that your insight has already been "said better", so you don’t say it.
Decided to clear away the cobwebs on my Substack.

Bluesky could destroy Elon's X relevance forever by making it comfortable for the AI community to move over. The data/API situation here is better and management there keeps burning credibility for no reason .
Just got to find a way to convince the people here not to be reactionary about it i guess
Dismayed to discover you aren't exaggerating the cursed parts.
Why ByteDance and not Qwen though?

What are your thoughts on "native" image gen models like Gemini Flash 2.0, please? I've seen people suggest they will kill diffusion because the control over outputs is better. What I find most impressive is it knows when not to use the Sheen.
Oh yes, I meant before the 21st century. I think Hitler and Napoleon sort of fit and I guess a better wording of my question is: is Musk history's first Lex Luthor/Ozymandias-style comic book villain?
Your post led me to this interesting one on Reddit:

I wonder if there have only ever being real-life Ozymandias-oids (as in, galaxy-brain private actor seeking to remake entire world) in the 21st century.
This man's a wonderful writer.

Excerpt from Cremieux article linked above: """This makes it very clear that there are exceptions in the link between more meritocratic measures of socioeconomic status like income and more potentially non-cognitive ones like educational attainment. Because socioeconomic status measures can become disconnected like this, they create what looks like an attainment-achievement discrepancy for many groups, including Nigerians."""
If National IQ estimates were true, would you need to say about Igbos "ackshually, there's no evidence they're as smart as my whites"?
Would the 'myth' around we Igbos even exist, man?
Why does your position lead you to "Some Igbos are highly-educated, so education is maybe non-cognitive idk"?
Favourite example is this Cremieux article where he immediately asserts the "data" says a Nigerian is generally barely capable of reading, completely oblivious to how if it were so, his article would be arguing against an idea that would be completely unfathomable.

Meta-literacy is about more than fact-checking: it’s understanding the broader information landscape.
I kind of came to it naturally, because I'm sort of wired to always ask "why?" for anything I encounter, and I ruminate a lot when I have idle time or get bored.
Please, do you have any tips on how I can learn meta-literacy?
Google seems to be the only one with a somewhat clear naming scheme for its LLMs.
I would really love to read if you ever feel like publishing it.
It's very true for Nigeria at least.
Much of our democratic history was rule by incompetent men but over the last decade, it has been ruled by mediocre, *extremely cynical* people.
The ruling class used to pretend to believe in things, now they're embrace all vice and openly revel in it.
