It seems to happen most commonly on high DPI mice. It’s triggered by rapidly moving the mouse up and down as you transition between areas. Was caused by an improperly clamped variable. Fuckin Euler angles.
We will push a patch for it tomorrow
I was able to do it once , now. I think it’s got something to do with jiggling the mouse of zooming in and out while transitioning between levels, hmm…

lol, don’t worry about that, this is basically impossible to do on accident and does not actually softlock the game. The jewel returns when you revisit the level if you somehow do this. I’ll tell the author of this to revise their post
