I have no problem with the cost of SF. It more than pays for itself in the time you save mousing around and doing repetitive tasks. If you pay for an annual sub, it’s even better. It’s incredibly powerful, esp if you get into the coding side. I’ve barely scratched the surface.

I have a list of common reason notes lined up in KM. Hit enter and done.

Select your line in the DX, guide track, AAF - anywhere in timeline - hit a shortcut, enter a number related to the character, and it creates a clip on the character’s ADR cue track, populates it with EdiCue syntax leaving it ready for you to just enter the dialogue text and any reason notes.
