1. The challenges high-support needs autistics face stems from having a world not built for their needs, and constantly needing accommodations

2. They're not going to be "cured" by being forced to follow allistic routines, and especially not while heavily medicated and institutionalized

One of my least favorite "arguments" for finding a "cure" for autism is insinuating high-support needs autistics would be grateful to not be "plagued with the challenges of severe autism"
