Some new Deep Cut amiibo figures will also be coming on July 23rd!
Shiver, Frye, and Big Man are sporting their Spirhalite Island looks. Each of them also connects to a base so you can display them together.

So, this isn't relevant rn, but asking if someone sawy with JRPGs want to help me with a script I'm working on. It is about (among other things) what makes a JRPG a JRPG so I need ot know if anyone say if what I'm saying makes sense or if 'm jusst talking of my ass.
People already talking about the Gundam movie like their life depends on it lmao โbut the brand could be hurt if it bombs!โ who cares man go watch one of the shows and talk to a real person
this scene hit the internet like crack in 2008

This isn't even a joke, this game takes place in 2026, and the plot started on 4/20.
The name of the first case is, I kid you not,
Turnabout Trump
I offer an expansion:
With this concept in mind, I think we start to see the problem: the show cannot decide if Pomni is a character with a dynamic arc or a flat arc.
The flat arc isn't as spoken abou as the dynamic arc but when you know it you see it everywhere. Goku from dragon ball. Gentaro Kamen Rider Fourze. Sonic The Hedgehog. Paddingon. Like every video game audience insert ever made.
There's another type of arc you can give to your character however: the flat arc. Rather than having the main character change themselves, they serve as the catalyst for other characters arcs. They are the means through other characters can grow and change.
So dynamic arc is the type of arc everyone in "good writing 101 classes" spout: you have a character with a goal/problem they want to solve, they face struggles that tie to their inner wound, and change because of that. Everyone who has studied writing or story analysis knows this.
But before I go any further with my probelm allow me to introduce you to two concepts: the dynamic arc and the flat arc. Since understanding them is cruical if you wan to understand what's ""wrong"" with Pomni.
The big criticism surrounding Pomni is the idea that she isn't really the proaagonis in her own story, that after the first few episodes she is sidelined while other characters (mostly Jax) have growth instead and while I do see where they aare coming from, I do feel the problem is more complex.
In response to some bullshit going around:
Can we please fucking destigmatize men being nice to / caring about / engaging with kids? These are normal adult mammal instincts; what's fucked up is that we beat them out of people based on gender and/or assume they're inherently predatory.
Welcome to the World of MOTHER 3
Zooble Look
Oldie, but one of my favorites.
Happy 20th Mother 3.
Oh, a June Direct is DEFINITELY coming.
They could update us on Fire Emblem in May, or they could make it the show opener for the June Direct, and reveal brand new titles along the way.
Either way, Fire Emblem being the last known game we're waiting on bodes well for upcoming news.
Moles on holiday
FWS TRAILER RELEASING NEXT WEEK TRUST THE PLAN
wait how wojld it make NTHs rumor fake
If Fire Emblem gets its release date revealed in May, that would make any first party titles in the next Nintendo Direct entirely a surprise, which would be incredible.
I'm actually starting to hope and believe Nate the Hate's rumor is wrong, if only so we can go into this Fall completely fresh.
So, with Rhythm Heaven and Splatoon Raiders now bound for July, that just leaves Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave as the last known first party Switch 2 title we need an update on. I'm still locking in September as my release date prediction.
Honestly, I hope we get a new trailer for that game soon.
it's moon child. woa oah oh oh. you've got the power to be his friend. it's moon child. woa oah oh oh. it's the beginning of a new and excitingly different story!
the story... is true
Did I just argue with a joke? Part of a Bluesky educational series
Two panel comic. On the first panel Sonic the Hedgehog asks Yoshi (from Super Mario series) and Kirby (from the titular series) "so... you guys can eat ANYTHING?" Both Yoshi and Kirby reply "yeah pretty much" and "it's kinda our whole thing" respectively. Sonic says "interesting..." On the second panel they are standing nearby Arby's. Sonic says to them "Oh come on, you said "anything". Yoshi and Kirby both answer with "there are limits".
