Now you're making stuff up to suit your narrative.

It wasn't impossible. The vetting took place. Mandelson appears to have failed. Robbins put in mitigations. Told everyone the process had been followed. Despite questions from the Foreign Affairs Select Committee failed to clarify verbally or in writing.
I wouldn't go that far, her normal interviews follow the list of questions in her hand, regardless of any answers or potential follow up
For crying out loud, the most junior levels in the CS (AO and EO) are under pressure every day to hit targets, provide information, see people (if public facing) etc. You'd expect the people at the top to be able to work under a bit of pressure
He didn't say that. He said he didn't feel any pressure. His team may have been under pressure from the No 10 team, presumably because they needed to know the result of the security vetting

Anything good that happens is always a surprise.
He said that he didn't feel any pressure, that no pressure was applied by ministers or the PM. He thought his team were under pressure from the team at No 10, who presumably wanted the result of the vetting. I'm afraid that members of the CS at the most junior level (AO and EO) work like this.
The Times had an article from Michael Gove saying what a good selection it was
"Clean energy is now scaling fast enough to absorb rising global electricity demand, keeping fossil generation flat before its inevitable decline."
www.theguardian.com/environment/...
Due process was followed. The result of that due process was not communicated to anyone, even when it was asked for.
New clean energy generation - almost all solar & wind - has exceeded electricity demand increases globally for the first time
Comes alongside substantial electrification of transport & heat in some places
Fossil fuel generation is, finally, decreasing

In the last couple of weeks good economic data has been quietly announced. In my view it’s because any minute now the Iran war will impact and destroy all the good work achieved by Labour. The media don’t want you knowing all the good stuff
Neither of them have anything to say or offer to their electorate, so they can only perform
The IMF say, in their latest data, that the UK economy is now the 5th largest in the world again, over taking India.
In October 2022 the IMF said the UK economy was overtaken by India, putting the UK in 6th place ( in the middle of Truss as PM) and the UK has remained there since then.

"Generation from wind power in Great Britain reach record levels for the first quarter of 2026, with almost 30 Terrawatt-hours (TWh) produced." www.edie.net/wind-generat...
Not really promoting Reform, honest.
Strange how they didn't do anything about a sanctioned Russian ship, when it went to a blockaded Cuba
That would be interesting. Maybe the Washington Post can sue Trump for the same amount and reason. Same as Wolff counter-sued Melanoma
He also hasn't realised that the going rate, if you're going to sue someone, is $10 billion. Not that it matters, because he won't get a penny
The media, particularly the BBC, have been after Starmer since the GE
.

Oh come on, the going rate is suing for $10 billion. Not that it matters, because he won't get a single penny
Poppy Bilderbeck - whose mum died of cancer last summer - has accused Peers of a “massive breach of their authority and power” for blocking the progress of the assisted dying Bill.
She says having the option of an assisted death would have brought her mum “peace and comfort” at the end of her life.
The decision to block this was made by about 4 people in the HoL, who came up with about 75% of the 'amendements'. The HoC passed the legislation.
Christie Arntsen is a mum-of-two whose incurable breast cancer has returned for the fifth time.
She feels “robbed” by Peers blocking the assisted dying Bill, and cannot believe unelected Lords can override MPs.
“That just seems so undemocratic…I can’t understand why it’s been allowed to happen.”
