I blame Axelrod for ignoring Trump when he offered to build a ballroom at the White House for Obama. Not that he should have taken him up on it, but I think that's what set off Trump to run for president. Maybe should have appointed him to be Ballroom Czar. Also, does the Vatican need a nuke now?

I don't remember learning about Reconstruction at all - in the 60s. My town in western PA was a stop on the Underground Railroad, tho, and we had an elementary school named after Thaddeus Stevens (did not know why), also one called Horace Mann. I went to Eisenhower Elementary.

He was the Congressman from the area in western PA where I grew up. Very Republican area, but he was elected in 1974 after Watergate and stayed in Congress till 2010.

He's got no media presence, kind of like when he was at HHS, where he did a decent job, but no recognition - covid was still an issue! Steyer has the best and most ads. I liked Porter in Congress, but she has no media presence either. Debates? None that I know of. What are they doing?!?
