😞the scorching hot summer gave the firebugs plenty of fuel to feed their unhealthy preoccupation with lighting 🔥 with no consideration for the living things that make this nature reserve their home

Stunning opal.
My dad was an opal miner at White Cliffs. He mined, cut and polished this stone for my mum. Differs from Lightening Ridge opal but also beautiful. As a side note, the setting was gold from his little side hustle alluvial gold mine.

It is, she’s a big girl and needs a big bed. Not like I had anything better to do on Saturday……
