a guy on our team has a maxed out framework desktop. and is experimenting with local LLM to help with code. he gets pretty good responsiveness. but one thing he has observed is the OSS models seem to lag behind current tech. so eg if u were using the latest c# features, it doesnt do a good job

i assume u r talking about Delta?
i honestly think that is my best product in terms of value versus cost of a dependency. it is a distributed cache that never delivers stale results and a cache miss has almost equivalent perf to if u were not using delta
if u take that approach. this might help github.com/VerifyTests/... if on windows

Ok, I'm in: if you build a plugin for JetBrains IDEs, I can review your Gradle build script.
I'll verify if caching works, introduce all those good practices, and even migrate it out of Groovy.
Drop me your GitHub repo, and I'll pick it up next week on the live stream! On me!

Trump is meanwhile demanding NATO allies leave the continent they are supposed to be defending to join him in a doomed adventure he chose in the Middle East
yeah, i must admit i am cautious when approaching a new project. sometime i dont get it right. peopling is more difficult for me than coding
also the vast majority of oss i use is for work. and for me, requiring to work on something because it is an employment obligation takes some of the fun out of it
i contribute to many projects i dont use. for a variety of reasons.
-i think the project is doing cool stuff and i want to be a part of it
-friends to maintain those projects have asked for help
-to learn about how people do things in different projects
anyone here using sqlserver or postgres for a website/webapi and interested in a perf boost? github.com/SimonCropp/D...
happy to get on a call and help set it up
i think i have squeezed as much perf out if this as i can. anyone up for reviewing it?

This looks like a nice clean solution to a wart on .NET's localization functionality - using Fody to set a default ErrorMessageResourceType and ErrorMessageResourceName (based on the attribute type).

Seems crazy that this is necessary though - am I missing something?!
