New short! It's on a guy you've seen before on the channel but this time, the format is much shorter.

My favourite #ColdWar themed cartoon!
So last weekend was the #WW3TeamYankee Team Nationals. The Shoot and Scoot team scored a respectable did table result, but I also came fourth overall on the individual scores and bagged best painted! Not a bad weekend really.
I'll get a better photo of this later, but just having finished the Humber and glued in the commander, I absolutely had to get a quick snap. Bash on, recce!
messy blackletter version:) ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค
gonna get some prints of this for Gothcon next weekend<3
Actually, I'm thinking the BTR-152 is much closer than the M3 Halftrack, even though its wheeled. Firing ports, driver doors, angled lead in from driver compartment to main body.
Many thanks, Mitch!
Just noticed all the static grass sitting on the turret. Should have brushed it all off before getting it in the light box.
S&S models 15mm resin and metal M548 logistics vehicle, painted in British two tone camo. It is accompanied by a spare Battlefront metal ANZAC figure, to tie it into the larger force, plus some Sktrex crates.

2m3/3 Additional units for the ANZAC force for #ww3TeamYankee all done.
Finally is the second of two themed objectives; an M548 logistics vehicle in British colours. This ties in with the British Rapiers and Abbots that support the force.

15mm objective marker constructed from a Battlefront plastic LAV-25 with an S&S models LAV-R upgrade kit. The LAV-R is painted in Australian three tone camo and has been modified to carry the unused turret, painted like the front has been scorched by an engine fire. A pair of Battlefront metal ANZAC infantry look on.

This picture just shows that the turret is suspended by the three 'ropes' made of fine twine and glued to the models existing lifting eyelets.

Next is one of the two themed objectives; a LAV-R recovery vehicle recovering a slightly scorched LAV-25 turret.

Trying to get some last bits done for my ANZAC #ww3TeamYankee force ready for next weekend's team event in Cardiff. Infantry have since been transferred to bases ready for filling.
Trying to get them ready for Wednesday's game vs @britishbersagliere.bsky.social so the "new model" curse is removed!
Mike won 6-3. One platoon of M113 infantry can not stop one and a bit companies of Soviet infantry! So, need to ensure my units don't become isolated.
I was trying to drop some BL755 there!
Some valuable lessons learned:
*Veterancy may be my armour. But Cobam is better at stopping Spandrels.
*triple check that all units are in the case. The Abbots were firing from offboard...
*Make sure you have the correct dice. Only had my German tin and the die knew it...

Next up will be one of the new Battlefront plastic platoons, along with the crews for a PSC 18/25pdr battery.

1st platoon of British rifles for EW #ww2 #FlamesofWar done. Photos didnt show any evidence of shoulder flashes in France 1940, but notionally, these represent one of the three battalions that made up the ill-fated 30th Brigade at Calais.

It's good to set achievable goals...
The final piece of Tex Talks Battletech Black Knight art. Fitting to wrap it up with the final scene from the episode. I guess that cloth should have gotten dirtier as she wiped the gore off the blade.
Hope y'all enjoyed the art! Watch the video here:

Yep, a fair point.
In my head (and borne out by older artwork) between the long years of the civil war and then the Exodus, most of the SLDF exiles must have been looking *haggard* by then
But the universe does have all sorts of counters to that and, hey, its kick ass artwork! I'll go with it! ๐
See, this wouldn't have happened if you had an overpriced GW paint pot. /Fez
So many Frontline Terrain mugs one can be given up as a warranty mug.
Yes!
I also thought she should look older than she did (wasn't exactly a spring chicken before the Exodus) but, eh, fuck it. Still loved it. Keep it up!
Love this photo.
I've been to many re-enactment/Living history events and seeing kids catch the history bug is the best thing ever.
Kids taking part have the time of their lives but also regular modern child visitors get so excited when we let them wear a helmet or hold a sword.
