It certainly didn’t escape notice that there was little concern on the part of archaeologists leading the dig that reaching the Bronze Age material required us to dig through what were presumably Bedouin graves of fairly recent date located on the site.
Yes mine came working on an archaeological dig in the Negev in the mid1980s with a team that included both Jewish and Muslim Israelis and learning how different their life trajectories and career options would be.
