this show did a localization thing i love - sanae's chuuni tic is to add a very dramatic です！onto everything she says, so they decide to translate that as her saying 'death!' constantly and confusingly

i rewatched a lot of smallville last year and it's absolutely trashy, but i kept getting pulled in and enjoyed giving actual attention like 80% of the time, it occasionally does some really nice character stuff!
