Tim Cook donated $1M to Trump’s inauguration.
He fawned over Trump and gifted him a 24-karat gold plaque (as Apple lobbied for tariff exemptions).
Apple donated to Trump’s White House ballroom.
And it removed ICE tracking apps from its stores following a demand from the DOJ.
Remember this.

SPRINGSTEEN: “The 🇺🇸 I love, that I’ve written about for 50 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist reckless, treasonous administration.”
Millions of American voters wanted to be villains. They came to believe it’s the key to success, while goodness is weak, woke, loser stuff, done only to signal.
Offered the option of unvarnished villainy, they enthusiastically took it. Seeing others suffer more made them feel big.
And here we are.
"USPS lost billions", LOL. You imbecile.
Man, I didn't realize how much of a hack Kernen is. He's like nails on a chalkboard.
When legacy media failed democracy, I didn't sit and complain — I built something better.

Agreed. It was so frustrating watching pitches that were obviously outside get called strikes time and time again. Tom Glavine made a career out of it. You rarely see those calls today and ABS is a big reason why.
Trump lost this war in every possible sense — morally, legally, politically, economically, reputationally, and strategically.
There's no "moderate Republicans" anymore if they support Trump.
They're children that never want to make hard decisions.
Bad immigration economics assumes every extra person is one less seat. Good economics notices they also bring a seat, a side dish, and demand for the bloke selling drinks.
The first story is fear; the second is how economies work.
There's got to be a more appropriate name for these extremists other than "settlers".
Blowing things up, kidnapping and killing foreign leaders, is good because it's Doing. Considering the consequences of Doing would be Thinking, which is weak and woke
For comparison's sake, the entire National Park Service costs $3 billion - a year.
Hey Eric, love your work. Any chance you might be updating your SP ranks before the season?
Just fucking depraved , this allegedly Christian nation.
Voting is a fucking responsibility like everything else an adult fucking human being has to do. You are not a fucking child.
Dem leadership has debilitating consultant brain that ironically (since they're so focused on polls) are completely out of step with what Dem voters want them to do. They have no idea how to actually lead.
What an embarrassing admission.
Since this will likely come up in the SOTU: Yes, US stock markets are up since Trump took office (14%).
But in the rest of the world, markets are up WAY more. Cumulative market gains are more than triple ours (43%)
Interesting. @radiofreetom.bsky.social told me Biden's approach to Gaza had no effect on the 2024 election.
Don’t look away.
The conditions people are being held in - sometimes for months, often with no due process, overwhelmingly with no criminal convictions - in the U.S. are horrific. These are, by definition, concentration camps. Torturous conditions against all legal & moral standards. Appalling.
I don't know how to explain to people that elections have consequences beyond their specific pet issue, and that not caring about those consequences is actually pretty shitty.
Mia Valentina Paz Faria A 7-year-old from Venezuela who was living in Austin, Texas Detained for 70 days “I don’t want to be in this place I want to go to my school.”
UPDATE: Staff at the ICE concentration camp in Dilley, Texas have begun raiding the dormitories of kids and their parents to confiscate and destroy letters from the children. This is in response to the ace reporting by @micarosenberg et al for ProPublica:
“I don’t want to be in this place I want to go to my school.”
- 7 year old imprisoned by ICE for 70 days in a concentration camp in Texas.
Today, after @propublica.org published this story, the camp was raided to confiscate letters from the children.

Every single time a story like this is reported, we must assume that there are many many more that do not.
I don’t really know what I expect in posting this, but maybe some people see it and can learn from it.
I’ll call it “lessons from an unwilling immigration attorney.”

I've tried to get this point across myself. Here, @brianbeutler.bsky.social does a great job of it. Liberal bias is a political tool — not a critique of performance — and it will assert itself regardless of how well the newsroom does on truthtelling and fairness. www.offmessage.net/p/a-requiem-...
We are facing a humanitarian crisis here. Each passing day we learn of new neighbors who haven’t left their homes and have fallen through the cracks. Lots of people aren’t connected to mutual aid networks. Just terrible suffering caused by the federal government.
"Trump’s Gallup approval rating as of last December was among the lowest the organization had found since it began taking the poll in the 1930s."
The gallup presidential approval poll is an institution in American politics that predates world war 2. With Trump’s approval in the 30s, they’re ending it. thehill.com/homenews/med...
