As someone that has worked on this, I’m pretty disappointed. This was MADE to be experienced in theaters. Also, my country doesn’t have Paramount+ so people here are just gonna end up pirating it instead of paying to see it in theaters like make it make sense 😭

I'm just going to say it: If you're enticed by playing this game because it's free now, you've got bigger questions to raise (to yourself) about why you still quietly enjoy Harry Potter whilst its creator does everything in her power to remove rights from trans people with her profits.

I can't see an AI generated games/movies/books winning 9+ industry/community awards.

Will the execs and corpos and creatively defunct silicon valley money men understand that? Or care? Probably not. But it's nice to feel positive about the creative space for a moment. :)

The winners were mostly indie studios but in general the nominees were indie and interesting.
There were multiple big announcements that have potential, and even the fast award categories (as much as they also deserve to make a speech) didn't feel as rushed as they did previous years.

I think the game awards this year was genuinely the best one in the past like 5 years.
Almost every trailer was something that felt fresh and exciting, not just samey looking trailers for 4 hours.
Even the awkward bits inbetween felt much more fun than just bad.
