you have to understand when you are a military kid you look at your country with a sense of pride, its not blind pride, you know its ugly and a lot of sacrifices were made and wrongs were done, but thing got better, moved forward, a reverence that i feel is gone now - replaced by fear and hatred

so too shy to say this on twitter...but i think I'm Demi-Sexual on top of being Bisexual. I used to think it just meant i had self respect or it was related to my SA as a teen - but now as a 40 year old woman (trying to lean into that now) i genuinely think i always have been - so yeah never to late

New Background for #AgathaAllAlong project - this is now our forward view - I have a few notes but its very close and I'm very happy with it! me and the artist have certainly found our groove! cant wait to start animating the Tarot Cards with this!

Well not exactly how I planned on spending my 40th birthday today - but counting blessings that there was a garage near by to sort flat tyre close to the cabin - and means I can still pick up Christmas food - so yeah welcome to being 40

First night sleeping in our new home - and it’s soooo quiet and peaceful- i forgot I have a constant ringing in my ears but I don’t care - seeing the better half at peace for the first time in nearly 4 years is everything to me

For the first time in 10 years of my VFX career I'm not doing a single awards reel or "for your consideration" - no VES, Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe...its really strange but just the way the eligibility and projects fell this year. hopefully picks up next year...
the Labret facial piercing has been officially retired from daily wear - it already went through my upper lip once causing my trademark scars but it’s now affecting the teeth and that’s no bueno- so will get some other piercing to replace it - if I was brave I’d do septum but I’ll stick with ear
