My name is Jamie Ager. I'm a 4th gen. farmer running against Republican Chuck Edwards.

I've spent my career building community through agriculture.

Now I'm running for Congress in Western NC to fight for working people and root out corruption.

Will you help spread the word?

Big thanks to everyone who came out to Oak and Grist in Black Mountain last night!

We're so lucky to have a thriving local business economy here in WNC supported by our communities. I'll be proud to be the strong voice they deserve in Congress.

It was great to spend some time hiking on a beautiful Western NC day with Preston Blakely, the Mayor of Fletcher.

I really appreciate hearing stories about Helene recovery, the challenges facing working families and the vision for the future of a great small town in WNC.

Found this family picture from 17 years ago! Having kids, building out the farm, running a wholesale meat business, and nurturing our marriage takes so much intentionality and hard work. I'm grateful for everything we've learned and appreciate Amy for putting up with lots of big ideas!

Leadership in Washington has failed Western North Carolina. Many of our friends and neighbors are still struggling a year and a half later. We deserve a representative who will fight for us to get back on our feet and fully recover from Helene.

Despite using our community as a backdrop for all those press conferences on the campaign, there was no mention of Helene recovery during the State of the Union.

Chuck Edwards doesn't even have the clout within his own party for our recovery to be mentioned once during a two hour speech.

Incredibly honored to have the DCCC's support in this race โ€“ one of the most competitive in the country this fall! Together, we're going to help tackle the affordability crisis, re-earn peopleโ€™s trust in government, and get the Helene recovery funding Chuck Edwards hasn't. #ncpol

We can build a future that young people believe in, but we must elect leaders who will fight for them. That's why I'm so proud to have the support of the Young Democrats of North Carolina, the Western Carolina University College Democrats, and the UNC Asheville College Democrats!

This is not public safety. Itโ€™s chaos.

We cannot have secret police. We have accountability, due process, and the rule of law.

Everyone involved in this violence should be held accountable. Kristi Noem should resign or be removed.

After Helene, we know how critical it is to be ready โ€” stock up on food, water, and medications.

Power outages could last days, especially in rural areas, so have a backup way to stay warm. Try to avoid travel during and after the storm. Stay safe, WNC!

There's a lot dividing us from one another right now, but we have more in common than could ever be different, and Dr. King's life shows us that it's never a bad time to work together for a better world. I hope that's a set of values we'll take with us as we remember him today.
