i REALLY want priv accou ts too but the fact we DONT have them proves that they want to donit right and not give us false privacy.

its good to have an informed mindset about it.

so, to allow for privacy features (which have been roughly sketched out in some dev skeets) they have to rewrite /how/ the data can be accessed by /all/ browser whilst remaining anti-billionaire.

that takes a LOT of time && manpower, esp when theyve had auch a user boom.

so they cant just make this browser have a private option that turns off visibility AND prevents /all users of the data/ from seeing it jf rhey have a different browser. it would never truly be private.

think of bsky not like a single social media platform, but like the browser you are using to view and interact w/ a large set of data.

bsky is inherently anti-billionaire bc of this. it cant be bought. a new browser can be made, snd everything can be used there.

its very complicated to do due to how the underlying tech works. theyre working on it, but its not as simple to do as it seems.
