IT'S REALLY ADORABLE, IS THE THING! Which is why he keeps getting bonito flakes LOL

Same!! Usually the struggle comes when I feel tempted to over-complicate the new routine. Having a calendar is great; having four calendars in different spots that I have to update separately is when I start falling off the wagon with all of them LOL
Every time I order takeout, my cat is at my feet begging, because he knows if I ordered takoyaki I will share some of the (non-sauced) bonito flakes with him LOL. I've created a monster...
I know a lot of ADHD folks disparage the "just write a list/get a planner" advice, but the thing is even if it's harder to keep up with, that advice just works for some of us😭 even if it's only sometimes! Somethin's better than nothin, and we just gotta try things and see what works best for us
Even casting aside the notion that IQ =/= intelligence (IQ tests can only measure certain kinds of intelligence and can't account for factors that make taking tests challenging for some people anyway), it's literally just. better to be kind than 'smart'. That's all there is to it.
This has never happened before and here we go again, I guess

Children love this classic.
There’s a free application, shutup10++, that lets you disable all the shitty windows stuff with a series of checkboxes.
It even tracks if windows rolls anything back between updates and lets you reverse the changes with a click.
I can personally recommend shutup10++ if you need to stick with windows
Why should I write better when a machine can do it for me? Because actually no one can do it for you, because your voice is unique among all the people on earth. Siri never petted a horse's neck. Alexa has never been ghosted by the captain of the football team. But you have lived, your heart is beating, you have suffered, and you have something important to say. It's a human's job, to use words, and whatever job you give to a machine, that part of your brain goes dark. Maybe it's worth it when it comes to remembering phone numbers and directions, but when that part of your brain that uses words goes dark, that's a vast area that's very close to your soul. Don't let some internet platform convince you that what you have to say and create isn't worthwhile. Words are the echo of your soul. Honing that echo matters.
this iconic advertising copywriter named Kathy Hepinstall Parks died over the weekend and I wanted to share something from her website I thought Bluesky would like
A dark and shadowy fanart of the characters from Over the Garden Wall. The Beast looms over Greg, Beatrice, and Wirt with his arms stretch towards them. His right hand reaches for Beatrice while his left creeps closer to Wirt's lantern, the soft glow revealing his hands to be very sketchy and scribbly. Wirt, Greg, and Beatrice walk close together as Wirt holds the lantern up with his left hand. Greg looks back to Beatrice with a happy expression as if ranting about another rock fact. He holds his frog (Jason Funderberker) in his right arm as he jaunts along the dark path. Beatrice flies low looking at Greg engaging in his enthusiastic ramblings.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

If only we saw this coming, like two whole years ago!
Alas, it was *completely* unavoidable so long as we ignore all the ways we could have completely avoided it, and all the people telling us so the whole time! 🥲
A horned blue fairy sits on the rocks in a cove, surrounded by streams of water. She is hunched protectively over daffodils and through tears, looks up with intense defiance. A bright 8-point star bursts from her chest. Below her, a cup has fallen into the water. Behind, a draining up-turned vase, with another vase and chalice upright.
A meme from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. In the top panel, one man labeled "literally every company" hands a plate labeled "AI" to a man labeled "me." In the bottom panel, the man labeled "me" nonchalantly tosses the plate down the hallway, discarding it with casual disdain while the first man watches.
Time to post it again.

An illustration mimicking a stained glass style, of an automaton figure draped in colorful clothes. From her outstretched hand there's a brilliant burst of light.
My first and only Art Fight attack of the year, but I'm proud of it nonetheless. For my friend artfight.net/~Ikolit of Aletheia, their PC in our MOTW campaign.
Inspired by a line from www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-TY... - "and you're more than stained glass, you're the light that comes through"

HELLO!!! It's been a long while, I hope you've been well! I had been talking to some friends about how I missed you and your art, and on a whim looked to see if you were on Bluesky - and here you are!!!
An older man looking very tired and disgruntled and rubbing his face.
An older man, looking concerned/transfixed, with a ghostly-looking hand touching the side of his face. The background and the hand have the texture of a brightly colored galaxy.
A monstrous humanoid character, sitting in a crouch and grinning.
A monstrous humanoid character, trying to hold in a laugh and then failing by laughing loudly and uncontrollably.
Mid-week #artshare ? about OCs???
My name is Moog, and I haven't drawn much recently, but my tabletop Monster of the Week character(s) Hugo and Vik have still been at the forefront of my mind mostly.
Two characters, a middle-aged looking human and a monstrous humanoid, sitting back to back. The human's face is mostly buried in his arms and he looks gloomy. The monster is mostly facing away, but casting a reluctant glance back at the human.
Two characters, a middle-aged looking human and a monstrous humanoid, sitting back to back. The monster is facing towards us, looking down, expression distressed, hand clenched in his hair. The human is mostly facing away but glancing back towards the monster, looking hesitantly concerned, a hand on the back of his neck.
Say, is that the kid from the milk carton?
Can I do anything when I'm also missing?
Something tells me kid never learned to swim
But can I do anything when I'm also drowning?
A digitally painted drawing of a male drow from the thighs up, with grayish skin, black nails, and 3 piercings on his right ear, which is long and pointy. He has a red collared shirt on that is fully unbuttoned, with the sleeves rolled up. He has a very athletic build, with a broad chest and very broad shoulders. You can see his toned body, which has 3 scars that cut over his chest, and a pointy, chain-like scar that wraps around his left arm. He wears sturdy brown work pants, a brown belt with a gold buckle, and black suspenders. He wears a black brick type cowboy hat with short edges on the brim, and has turned his head downwards slightly to cover his face, which has a smirk. He has an ornate tattoo on his pecs with a dark, inky style with an eye in the centre of his chest, with part of a triangular shape that goes from his chin to just under his bottom lip. His left hand is poised on his hip, and in his right hand he clutches a pickaxe, which is slung over his shoulder. A colourful painterly background of golden yellow transitions into light cornflower blue to mimic a sunrise.
A digital drawing of a male drow with dark gray skin, broad shoulders and athletic build leans against a painterly wooden fence. He is posed leisurely and leaned back with his palms propped against the fence. His back is facing the camera, but his head is turned towards the left side of the drawing with a pleased smile on his face. He has dark, purplish hair that is spiky but falls loosely over his face, and trails down part of his neck like a fauxhawk, where the sides are short with bluish hair but still thick enough to not be buzzcut, and pointy sideburns. He has pointy ears and a sharp, downward turned nose that is also very pointy. His brows are thick and dark, and his eyes have black sclera with a bright red iris that has a ring of white around it. He has 4 piercings in the ear that can be seen - 3 gold rings and 1 black bar that goes through it. He is shirtless, allowing us to see his toned broad back and muscled arms. A multitude of scars jut across his back and wrap around his left arm, going from his shoulder down to his mid forearm. Part of a tattoo can be seen on his chin, an upright triangular shape that continues down his neck. He wears black suspenders, which are connected to a set of brown work pants that has a tan work belt with a pouch slung across his waist. We can see part of his boots, which are black and have brown straps that wrap around them. He wears black fingerless gloves and has black fingernails. The background is painterly and in pastel colours of yellow, pink, orange, light blue, and rosy brown.
