That’s extreme. I have a friend who only ate boiled white pasta for the first decade of his life, and his parents indulged that too. I love him but that style of parenting didn’t do him favors as an adult. We have our kids make their own breakfast and lunch on school mornings.

All this to say it's just more garbage based on thinking that a woman who marries and has kids young won't be able to leave that marriage if it goes sour, because they want women trapped and subjugated.

Lots wrong with this, but the "delayed motherhood" part got me thinking, and peers who became parents earlier than we did typically didn't end up having more children than we did. And we didn't end up having more children than peers who became parents older than we did.

I don't have a good answer when their parents ask "what about the crazy stuff that happens?" and that bums me out.

When I was younger, I suppose I took a sort of pride in my tolerance of antisocial bus shenanigans. That has really started to fade more recently. Especially now that my kids have started bus commuting to/from school and next year all of my son's friends will bus to middle school.

Yeah, our appliances were old enough to be out of warranty but too young for the replacement cycle. We also knew that the specific issue with ours was at least in part due to a prolonged period of abnormally heavy use.

It's a grocery store with a huge parking lot next to a seven-lane highway, ya ding dong. Unless the new laws call for removing the highway and all the parking (they don't), there's no environmental benefit to picking it to death.

Not that they should, but I'm sure that if you polled the actual residents of the neighborhood, they would love to have a discount grocery store nearby. There's a reason this "advocacy group" doesn't want to reveal who they are.
