are by the waist. if you remember these relative correlations between body parts, then you'll be able to play around with the proportions to fit your style better!

i sometimes use the head measures, but most of the time i think of the body in parts and how a part is in relation to another. for example, the body's halfway point is just around the hip area, so those 2 parts should be the same length. or that the arms fall around mid-thigh, so the elbows (+)
