We’ve told all our kids that we’re nudists. With one of them being trans and another being pansexual and both of those being out to us, we believed that it was only fair for us to be as open.

Mom's "What are you getting into!?!" was probably the most honest reaction.

I think the ploy worked because we ended up getting little response to our nudist status, and I have to say that their comments regarding Maeve's status were "appropriate." However, their outward reaction to both admissions probably don't honestly reflect their true internal thoughts.

So, my nudist outing to my parents was meant as a buffer to assuage my wife's more difficult news. (My parents are exceptionally conservative, and will view their son and daughter-in-law being nudists likely to be preferential to their grandchildren being trans.)

We needed to give them a heads up on Maeve's status before they arrived and were just confronted with it.

Obviously, my parents know her child, but they live in Florida and we are in Indiana. The don't see us much, so Maeve has been able to remain on the down-low for a couple of years, but my parents are visiting next week and Maeve will be Maeve instead of the David that they had known.

I had to explain that it's not sexual or anything like that. No swinging, orgies, or crazy stuff. It's just normal people doing everyday things without clothes.
Actually, my wife wanted us to use the nudity outing to be a precursor to her need to inform my parents that her youngest child is trans.

Soooo... I'm a 58-year old man. 2 days ago I told my 84- and 82-year old parents that my wife and I are nudists.
My mom's first reaction was, "What are you getting into!?!"

As far as I could tell, these people weren’t nude. I considered turning back to watch the process, but decided that would be weird.

I’d love to know what they were filming on Kemil Beach at 6:00 AM!

As I approached the beach entrance on my way back, I saw a couple of guys on the beach, so I pulled on the AussieBum bikini that I had carried for the walk.
It turns out that these guys had a bunch of filming equipment and a van full of people. They were prepping to do some kind of production.

I woke up at 4:00 AM this morning and drove up to Kemil Beach to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, I was too late. The sun was already up when I got there at 5:10.
Regardless, I walked from the beach entrance down to the nude area and almost all the way back completely nude.

Wow. I was nude at Kemil about half the time, but it looks like I got bikini tan lines, along with a moderate burn today even though I used sunscreen.
(Kemil isn’t officially nude, so I had to be covered part of the time. )

Participating in Nude Recreation Week, I arrived at our clothing optional RV resort yesterday morning and installed a new wireless access point in the nude.
This morning I drove to Kemil Beach on Lake Michigan and spent almost 3 hours on the beach.

This is a state park, and from what I understand, even if it was a national park, the rangers are free to use local laws to ban nudity.

Yep!

What needs to happen in the United States and the rest of the world? This! This right here is what needs to happen.

It's as everyone says. You may not have experienced public nudity before, but once you do, it takes no time for you to adjust and feel completely comfortable with it!

We're hosting a friend here at our clothing-optional campsite because he's going to a concert in Chicago tonight and tomorrow night. He's never been to a nude resort before, but he fit right in and felt completely comfortable!

Took a hike this morning at Ponderosa Sun Club, our clothing-optional RV resort. It was a beautiful morning, but the afternoon became heavily overcast. Luckily, the clouds parted later and it got warm again.
