I would watch a show about the Cuyahoga Community College Landscaping Team’s journey to take silver at the National Championships. Were they thrilled? robbed? Is there some crusty old NE Ohio landscaping coach running his recruits through the mulch every year dreaming of April glory?

This is the worst basketball game I’ve watched in a long time, and I watched multiple DePaul games this year.

Having a lot of success on early down throws. Gotta think the commitment to stopping Saquon is a big reason why.

CFP title game preview sneak peek: Notre Dame's Cover-1 is unreal. (But Ohio State passing against a Cover-1 might be even better.)

As mentioned in my preview yesterday - Rourke turned into a different player once pressure started getting home against Michigan.

Same story today.

They’re stunting more on 3rd downs to rush the pass but you’re right, more LB blitzes paired with slants from the DL. Big difference is they’re just mixing up run fits in different ways.

Film Study: Will Howard's Best Passing Game As a Buckeye and More Defensive Wrinkles in Wrigleyville The Buckeyes' explosive, downfield passing attack opened up everything else for the offense.

Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I’ll be breaking it down for @11w.bsky.social next week. Come check out this week’s analysis of the Northwestern game if you haven’t already: www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-f...

But there also aren’t any freaks that jump off the screen when you watch the film. OSU will have a major physical advantage in this game, the question is whether it can avoid making mistakes, as Indiana has done a great job of taking advantage when an opponent does so.

In all, Indiana is a well-coached team on both sides of the ball in that everyone is always where they’re supposed to be and they execute well.

There’s nothing exotic happening schematically, but maybe that means they have saved some tricks up their sleeves for Saturday?

But they’ll also play man-coverage and blitz 6 to get off the field. They haven’t seen WRs like OSU’s, however, so it’ll be interesting to see if/when they go this route.

The big change-up is disguising Tampa 2 on passing downs. Below, we see them line up with 1 deep safety before dropping into 2-deep zone, looping the OLB on a stunt to get pressure with only 4.

That desire to plug inside gaps is great against zone but can be attacked with gap concepts like Counter.

On nearly every snap, the stand-up OLB is to the boundary with a nickelback to the field, but will alternate which player is the 4th rusher.

Defensively, the Hoosiers base out of 3-down looks and play a lot of coverages in the Quarters family. The DL isn’t full of freaks so they want to put bodies on interior gaps and keep LBs free to make tackles, but will often send pressure off 1 edge.
