Accreditation of your plan literally seems to be have some meetings, not even with students, and make some big targets with no real easy way to hit them. But at least it's on a document on your website somewhere?

When pushed on a near term initiative, I said a park and stride scheme would be best as a possible small win. The literal response? "I think it would be better if you targeted yourself on something like getting 10% of your students to cycle by the end of the year" (that's 200 kids, up from 20)
I said to the council guy I thought the best impact was going to be hitting next year's intake hard on travel choices available before they even start school. Try to build small habits before they just jump in a car. But no, to get accreditation it appears the best thing to do is have meetings
@ianwalker.bsky.social School travel plans. Oh my were you on my mind yesterday. Nearly as grumpy as when I hear train station announcements.
Watched it last night. Was it as bad as everyone was saying? Yes. Did I find it hard to constantly say "but why.....?" Yes. Have I worked out yet why boats capsized and tanks wouldn't work because a data centre was "ate" by aliens? No
My August holidays are completely different now. I would take two weeks at a sacrifice of an earlier holiday earlier in the year. Full knowledge as the holiday came to a close I'd be back at work in a few days. Not any more. Very different holiday vibe. Not saying everyone can do this

“THIS IS THE LAST TIME I GIVE YOUR FOOTBALL BACK. GO AND PLAY YOUR FOOTBALL SOMEWHERE ELSE”
But weirdly work well in a wrap. Honest.
Very, but I'm a bit of a data geek so would love to filter by school phases taught, subjects, location, seniority etc 🫣
My daughter does air travel right.
