““Trump must resign” is a clear moral statement, and it puts the onus to respond entirely on the most powerful, most evil person in the country, who refuses to fulfill any of his obligations, including the obligation to remove himself if he refuses to fulfill his oath.

I hate that the default D messaging is that he's "unhinged" or "unwell." He's not mentally ill. He's evil. He's an evil racist warmonger who is reveling in the thought of mass death.

Not the main point here, but I do not ever recall a federal agency making significant programmatic and personnel changes as a result of the PRESIDENT'S BUDGET PROPOSAL, which does not change any law or funding allocations. Congress hasn't acted yet.

Spoke with President Trump. He told me the conflict should be over in days, not weeks but if no deal is made he’s blowing up the whole country with “very little” off the table. "If happens, it happens. And if it doesn't, we're blowing up the whole country,” he said. I asked if there’s anything off limits. “Very little,” he said.

Again, I don’t see how you can read this as anything other than Trump trying to normalize the idea of using nuclear weapons

The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.

Awful. Congress must put this all back in.

The FY27 Budget Request makes three things clear:

1. Trump et al., are using the budget as ONE TOOL in a broader plan to destroy independent centers of thought, particularly the sciences.

2. Vought designed this budget to allow Republicans to look like they “support science” when they “fight”…
