I've written a new blog post on AI.
I reluctantly learnt some of the concepts and tooling in this space and highlight these for newcomers.
I felt I had to investigate rather than hate.
I also discuss the flaws of AI, the impact of AI and the future of AI

Two years ago I wondered if software was getting worse. These days, however, it just seems as though updates are becoming increasingly irrelevant. I really don't care that I can add artificial bunnies to pictures 🙄 #repostfriday blog.ploeh.dk/2023/07/24/i...
I've had the pleasure of seeing Scott present at conferences in the past. Scott always delivers. I agree this is one of his best. Tech has changed a lot in the last 40 years, but it doesn't have to change what makes us human. Please watch.
What do you mean the delivery date slipped?

I stand with Ukraine and the truth that Russia is an invader.
All that other garbage (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, ceremonies, frameworks, backlogs, Sprints, POs, SMs, after-the-fact reviews, meetings, standardized processes forced down people's throats—all the things people justifiably hate) not only has nothing to do with Agile but is actively destructive.

Technical Agile: Tiny iterations, continuous deployment, fast feedback from actual customers, adjust based on that feedback. Continuously improve the way you work.
Or at a high level: Work small, talk to each other, make people's lives better.

After playing a fictional member of the Resistance a long time ago, I never could have imagined it ever happening in real life, but here we are.
What is the best tv show of all time and why is it Battlestar Galactica (2003) ?
Ich hab mich auch vorhin gefragt ob ich der App jemals irgendwelche Berechtigungen gegeben habe. Passt aber. Dieses Mal.
The beauty of the final DLC boss is that it is actually pretty fair (they later nerfed the second phase) when you get into the parry rhythm. Other bosses in the expansion are a bit more messy.
FWIW the Elden Ring DLC boss took me about two weeks. It’s nuts 🤠
Usually I tend to stick with default difficulty on games that have more than one level since the balancing often is not great. Here I found myself walking over almost every enemy in Dawnshore. Let’s see how the next province goes.
Gonna be honest, I switched to hard but I came from Elden Ring DLC so I needed the challenge 🤓
