I've been using Linux for over a decade and it's been my daily driver for 7 or 8 years and that "oooh update!" feeling still hasn't gone away.

I'm a bit in shock that this is even a Milestone game. Gravel, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Sebastian Loeb Rally, etc were fine, 6/10, safe, basic B-tier racers.

Screamer feels like if Bizarre Creations came back from the dead and made an Inertial Drift game.

So tl;dr: "futa" != "trans woman." As a porn tag for art, it's probably mostly fine. For anything related to actual real people, it's a slur.

If you draw a trans woman with a dick and tag it as "trans," that's maybe fine (subject to that whole discussion), but either way tagging it as "futanari" would definitely be unacceptable.

In internet porn land, there's also a fetishization of trans people as a totally separate thing, which is its own discussion that I'm not qualified to have an opinion on. But it exists and matters for my example.

The word itself has kind of morphed over time. "futanari" means having both sets of genitals, but in internet porn land it's become the word for (cis) woman with dick.

Calling a trans woman "futa" would definitely be a slur. Some (but not all) trans women are uncomfortable with the term entirely because of that.
