Prestige was on my mind for April — not elitist prestige, but prestige as cultural- and self-preservation. As a pluriversal care for excellence. My Culture Clock™ analysis mapped how CSM, LCF, and Parsons may confront prestige mutation in the next several years: imageamplified.com/reclaiming-p...

MEDIA SOVEREIGNTY: How We’re Taking Back Control of Fashion’s Narrative in 2025
To put it bluntly, there is no turning back. We’ve seen behind the curtain. Across the fashion media landscape, the once-deified have revealed themselves. Fashion houses are scrambling. Corporate fashion media is in…

The image is a heatmap titled "Measles," showing measles cases across U.S. states from 1928 to 2003. States listed on the y-axis include Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The x-axis spans years from 1928 to 2003. A vertical line marks the introduction of the measles vaccine around 1963. The color scale at the bottom ranges from blue (0 cases) to red (4,000+ cases), with shades of green, yellow, and orange indicating intermediate values (1,000, 2,000, 3,000 cases). Before 1963, many states show frequent high case numbers (yellow to red), while after 1963, cases drop significantly, with mostly blue indicating near-zero cases.
And yet Joe Rogan puts guests on who say "Vaccines aren't actually responsible for the reduction in infectious diseases.”

In this article I take a closer look at Catalytic Play, as developed by my husband Rick.

The first chapter in Winterson’s Christmas Days book inspired this new article on Bridging, a concept and methodology I’m developing:
medium.com/@troywisephd...
Rather than denying the friction, Bridging transforms it into connection, honoring both the contrasts and commonalities.
The holidays are a perfect example: they challenge us to find harmony in cultural differences, creating new traditions while honoring part of the past that we find meaningful.
It’s not always seamless: some traditions clash, others just fit awkwardly. This is where bridging, developed as part of my ANI (Aesthetic-Narrative Imagination) theory, comes in. Bridging is about intentionally addressing these tensions—balancing differences into something meaningful and resonant.
Yesterday Rick gifted me Jeannette Winterson’s Christmas Days, and her first chapter reminded me of the creative tensions that define the holidays. They bring together a patchwork of traditions—childhood memories, cultural rituals, and new practices we create along the way.
Land doesn’t vote. Stop pretending it does.
What people say they want in local news: “greater transparency + media scrutiny around development projects”; “more explanatory journalism that can break down decision making at different levels of government + empower ppl to participate politically”; “information pertaining to social services” …

TikTok is pretty wild right now. I don’t think the ruling class is prepared for the cultural shift that’s happening this week.

FINALLY, THIS:
“Misandry..is women’s anger agnst their oppressors. Misogyny is men’s anger agnst those they oppress”
These things are not equal, not in societal active AND tacit support & power, nor in individual & societal impacts
“Both sides-ism” of ths is a political decision to disappear 👆🏽.
Say it louder for the people in the back: priorities, people!
