Looking at the time stamps of these photos is blowing my mind. 11/1/12 9:33pm at the armory as a MRC volunteer during hurricane Sandy. I get a call from ACS, find a free crib in Dumbo, rent a truck, bump into my close friend Deepa- all within 14 hours I have the crib, set it up and kid 1 by 3:49pm.

The only highlight of the social security office is the new dads who are trying to take the cognitive loads off their wife and pick up their baby’s new social security card. They are FLUMMOXED and never have the right documents. Sometimes in the elevator they tell me it’s their 2nd or 3rd attempt.
I made the girls’ lunch sandwiches out of rosemary sourdough bread- which they’ve never tasted. I’m going to hear ALL about it tonight. They’ll either love it, or be appalled.
