This is just a good ass video game. Fun levels, controls are tight, and yeah I'm a sucker for the references. But take those away it's just a really good 3d platformer that just puts a smile on your face the whole time. I even collected all bots and puzzles. When I never care about completion.

The enemy variety isn't the greatest (and they even have a giant boss that sucks like in mhw) but that's to be expected with a new game and not a legacy one. The fact this turned out so good after the dev hell it was in is a miracle and I hope they keep it up. Also I want to obliterate Sandalphon.

Pleasantly surprised how good this is (thanks ps+). A mh clone that gives a you a variety of chars to main instead of weapons. Every char has their unique playstyle that is drastically different to learn and subsequently hard to master. The only similarities are that they all feel good to play.

If you were told the ending and didn't read the entirety of part 2 beforehand it's a really good ending. Unfortunately I did read part 2. I didn't need avengers endgame culmination, but I needed *some* culmination. If you cut out all of part 2 it's an all timer. Instead it's just pretty good.
