The number you show for Portland Oregon was generated by the police before 10:00 am. The big march did not begin until 1:00 or 3 hours later. A lot of people came during those 3 hours that are not included in the 45,000 number.

I find it truly disappointing that no Republican in the legislature is willing to speak the truth about Trump's lies about Portland. The city is not on fire. This is not a hell hole. Pre Trump we could agree on some basic facts even if we disagreed about policies. Now nothing.

Unfortunately there is a small, but dedicated core in Portland that will take the bait and enough sincere and concerned citizens that will join in and end up giving the anarchists cover.
