Game Ideas of the Month I’ve come up with an idea that I’ve never heard of. What if you combined the year’s biggest hit with the best-known character in video-gaming? That’s right — Super Mario Fighter! Can’t you just picture it? Ryu and Ken would, of course, be represented by the Mario brothers. Dhalsim would be Yoshi — his tongue could lash out like Dhalsim’s arms. Donkey Kong Jr. would be E. Honda; the princess would be Chun Li. I guess you get the picture. When you get certain items, you have the ability to use special attacks. For instance, a Fire Flower would drop from the top of the screen, and whoever catches it would be entitled to his or her own special missile attack. Plus, you could carry many power-ups at one time. Just imagine: Mario collects a cape — he can now do his fireball in the air! Steven Hari Toronto, Ont.
