The smashing cover for the Sixth Doctor boxset, Expulsion. Great centre pose from the Doctor, flanked by Peri in armour, holding a shield, and Turlough wielding a big sword.
A Crucible of Queen is out! Stabby French political shenanigans after the little mishap of Agincourt! And sword-wielding Turlough! Available as part of this fine set of sixth Doctor stories: www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/d...
*waves!* Seemed like an obvious cause to back (a) I love musicals (b) I'm an ADC alumnus myself - Pink Floyd: The Wall in 1991 (c) Paul asked nicely and I trust his judgement.
Some mysterious donations from email addresses I don't know got us over the line. I hope they drop me a line so that I can properly thank them! X♥️
Ahhhhhhh! *runs around madly*
This is just...ahhhh! I'm so incredibly, stupidly grateful! ♥️♥️
Unfolding, the musical by @emmavieceli.bsky.social just reached its funding target! Amazing!
£340!
£390!
Oh wow! They only need £590 now! You wonderful people! Can we get it over the line?
I love you, Paul. Thank you so, so much. For being there and for the support after xx
It’s written by @emmavieceli.bsky.social my artist partner on The Modern Frankenstein. How weird that you go to see a friend’s musical at a little theatre and find it life-changing and life affirming. The world needs this show.
So this amazing musical that made me cry and is about stuff close to my heart, they’re at 90% with 9 days left! Go look! Go *listen*! greenlit.com/project/unfo...
That’s it! Thank you!
I think it's Power Man Annual #1 reprinted in Mighty World of Marvel Annual 1978.

Comics folk: what’s the issue of Power Man (maybe Claremont?) where Luke falls an enormous height from an aircraft into water? Read it in a UK annual, would like to own the original.
Hello, I did a podcasting about Where We Stand, Where We Fall, and probably it's not a completely confused ramble. Probably. (It is a bit hard talking about one's own work, I am trying to be better at it.)
Congratulations!
Really looking forward to this - the politics of Doctor Who is something I've always found fascinating, possibly because Who is, alongside Terry Pratchett and Star Trek, one of the three foundational pillars that formed my own political viewpoint.
And Liz watched her copy using the shadows on a cave wall, cast by the light of Paul's precious-gem encrusted first edition Blu-ray given to him by the knight guarding the grails in that Indiana Jones movie.
Thanks!
Thanks for another splendid episode. I'd never watched The Champions before, but I enjoyed the first episode. Bonus thanks to @lizbethmyles.bsky.social for mentioning Next of Kin, which I've not thought about since my North Texas PBS station ran it in the mid-90s.
Before Salvation's Child hits shelves on May 26th, we're digging into the archives of The Final Architecture series.
Cosmic Lightgouse will be picking our favorite questions and posting my responses as we count down to the graphic novel’s debut.
So: any questions, post below!
Thanks, Steve!
