My latest opinion piece on Iran. The 25th amendment must be invoked. We’ve strayed so far from the lighted path of democracy and down a dark alley of authoritarianism where a POTUS can openly declare that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.”

I loved being a paramedic, it was my favorite job. I treated thousands of patients, but couldn’t afford to pay the bills. Even with advanced training, the highest I made was $11.50/hr. EMS deserves pay parity and the support they need to be able to not just survive, but thrive in their field.

This is lunacy bouncing from the mass destruction of a civilization to diplomacy with zero evidence. Enough is enough — we can’t govern like this.

Sane diplomacy should not include the complete obliteration of a nation. We should not tolerate this anymore.

The President of the United States said this morning “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.” Read that again. This is unhinged and unacceptable. This is not normal. We would not allow this kind of behavior from any world leader.
