I do find it odd that people are "Yay the end of alien dominance!!" by....cheering a very likely new alien. It's an interesting dichotomy.

(And I've always found the notion of actively hating someone for being really good at their job odd. Annoyance, I get. Hatred, I don't. 🤷‍♀️)

I am experiencing a small amount of schadenfreude at those so desperate for someone to knock Pogi off the pedestal...are they all entertained now? 😂

Still, Seixas has a way to go in terms of competition, and if I had a Euro for every flameout I've seen, I'd have a tidy sum.

Hooo, I was rooting for a breakaway win, but nah, not with the Huy. Ben Tulett shocked the heck out of me...look at how well he navigated the last few kms? Well done!

Okay, Lenny Martinez’s huge mustache just woke me up. 😳😆

Heh, I got it, just wasn’t in the right headspace to fully appreciate it today. 🥲

Buuuuutttt, in the same vein, if anyone yells “FLASH!” and I don’t respond with “AH AHHHHHH!!,” then check my pulse because I have expired. 🤣

Watching Fleche tomorrow should be interesting. For the first time in a while, I have no horse in the race. I'm not convinced by Seixas, several teams have the weirdest patchwork, and I'm all in on some random winner. 😆

Or Nordhagen. Very interested in how he'll fare. Or LouLou 'cause why not?

Luckily Jasper seems to keep his head about such things. Besides, SOMEone has to do the Alpecin har products ads!

Hahah, after all the hair trauma Pogi and Remco have visited upon me the last couple of years, this barely registers. 😂

(Now, if Jasper ever did anything ridiculous to his hair, I might just go hide in a cave for a few weeks. 🤣)

Oooh, even more reason! IMO, taking a broader course like General Relativity would be better than taking only more hyper-specialized courses. Breadth of knowledge will serve you better in the long run than depth of knowledge!

(But I am a social science major. Take my advice at your own risk. 😉)

Just a thought as to how to narrow it down. Or maybe choose the one LEAST attached to your field of study to give yourself a respite from the specialization and keep you out of a rut.

I would look at the 4 and think, "how much do I already know about these subjects?"

I was working on my accidental history degree and when choosing my 3 European history classes, I dropped the WWII History class (sadface) because I already knew so much about it and went for a lesser-known subject.

The whole city dresses up and it is lovely. Boston truly 💙s their Marathon. Even if you're not running, the atmosphere is fantastic!

Like he said in the clip, he's REALLY hungry!

(And TBH, I'd be double fisting cake after 257kms! 😂)

After a fun surprise winner at #TouroftheAlps, I have switched over to the #BostonMarathon broadcast.

I actually miss being at this race; Boston on Marathon Weekend is a truly magical place. Currently planning to be back there next year with my runner! 🤞

I have had this link sent to me today and OMG, it is brilliant. I can't decide which is better, Jasper making up for lack of talent with enthusiasm or Kaden Groves looking like he's about to hurl himself out of the car. 🤣🤣🤣

Good morning, happy Monday (haahhaha), and I see Sporza reporting that Remco is not doing Fleche so he can focus on LBL. That makes that race even MORE wide open. Yeeeow!

Other than that, #TouroftheAlps is on and gaaahhh, what lovely scenery. 😍
