YEA i think 999 is especially mindblowing when were young and never found a game with that type of gimmick, ds games have more room for creativity. although i know one friend who went ?? the last puzzle is stupid 😂 but thats bc they dont like numbers like that

yea i do think its a cool niche to have slice of life games with a somber tone... i miss it... the ost was great too... nowadays i pray for another franchise to crack into the niche 🙏🙏

ds is peak for the mechanic, but I have a soft spot for the voice acting they added to the remake

i dont mind colorful/whimsical, i also played the mobile game for a spell but its hard to differentiate the series from like every other jrpg if they head that direction

and now they make the atelier games "open world" 😭 we already have so many...
