An Ellie Story: This weekend we went to the park and stopped at Starbucks on the way back.
As I'm in the drive thru giving the barista my order. Ellie sticks her head out the window and barks loudly into the speaker. I'm like " She wants a pup cup apparently".

Three days into a GI flare up, between the anaemia and the insomnia, I can't function.
I had to cancel 3 appointments today.
I'm ticked off because there's zero reason for it to be this bad. I'm not stressed about anything.
Sigh.
We went to play ball at the playground and some kids were nervous about the dog being around them. But after seeing how well behaved she was they came over and asked to play with her. She played ball with them for the past hour. The kids left thinking not all dogs are bad.
Having one of THOSE nights.
I'll be okay. Just gotta ride the stupid ride.

Our 5 year old neighbor knocked on our door to ask if he could go into our yard to retrieve a ball his sister had lost.
Talk about being brought up right. 40 years ago I would have just gone and retrieved my ball without even thinking of knocking on the door.

I woke up in shock this afternoon thinking there's no way I slept that long. But I sure did.
